For Harris County Treasurer
ABOUT ME
Hayley Lane Hagan

WHERE I COME FROM
Hard work is expected. You show up, do the job, and take care of your community. That’s how I was raised and how I lead. Born, raised, and serving Harris County.
A THRIVING CAREER
My career in county government has been more than a job. It has been a calling.
I have grown from an entry level position into a
leadership role by building systems that work smarter and serve the public better. It is a career built on integrity, hard work, and a deep commitment to public service.

I did not get here by accident.
I got here by showing up, staying late, and refusing to settle for good enough. I earned the trust of department leadership, helped implement stronger financial practices, and became the person others relied on when systems needed to work better.
Now, I am ready to take that experience countywide.
What I have done behind the scenes at the Sheriff’s Office is exactly what the Treasurer’s Office needs out front: accountability, modernization, and real public service.
MISSION STATEMENT
Integrity Meets Transparency
I believe the residents and taxpayers of Harris County deserve more than quiet bookkeeping. They deserve a Treasurer who leads with integrity, communicates openly, and ensures every dollar is accounted for.

My mission is to modernize outdated systems, expand access to financial information, and restore trust in how public funds are managed.

As someone who has built a career on accountability and service, I am committed to bringing transparency to every corner of this office and doing the work, not just holding the title.
